I like to make yoga light, relatable, & fun.  At the same time take the "I'm not flexible enough" out of your mindset.  My approach is to get you to feel comfortable, get you used to the poses, get you flexible and mobile. .  I'm not an airy fairy yoga instructor, who I love so much.  I am airy fairy when needed. LOL! 

Ive been told I'm offbeat, cheesy, informal, and very untraditional.  So, if you are looking for a traditional yoga class, I'm just not that teacher.  I do my best in keeping my cheese ball moments at a minimum but my brain immediately goes to extreme cheese when I teach.  Mmmmm extreme cheese sounds AMAZING!


I like to have fun and don't take myself serious at all.  So, you will notice that I make mistakes in my classes here and there,  I let out some stupid remarks, and I laugh, ALOT.  

In these videos, I'm teaching as I do in my live classes.  I love when people laugh out loud because many of my students are so focused on getting into the pose.  They are sometimes forcing themselves into the pose.  That is not the focus I would want my students to have.  It's not about just getting into poses.  It's about honoring your body and accepting the level it may be at.  Don't force yourself into any pose.  If you stay committed, your body will learn how to get into the poses without you even trying.

More About Me...

I am 200 Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) and a sport massage therapist(Essential Body Therapy) since 2012.  I bring my anatomy and massage knowledge into my classes, which means you will learn a little anatomy.  I quiz you at the end...HA! just kidding.  But I love anatomy and feel it will only up level your pain management strategy, workout recovery, and injury prevention.  I love to strategize about pain management and how to gain flexibility and mobility with inflexible or post injury rehabilitation.  

I feel its important to keep the body moving and keep the body mobile.  I personally want to be an 80 year old cross fitter just to show the vintage and wise individuals that your body doesn't have to hurt all the time and that you CAN be active.  I've been so inflexible for such a long time and now my body feels amazing and I started this journey at the ripe age of 39, I know I said my age...who would have thought?!  I don't act my at all. LOLOL


I encourage my students to not take yoga, stretching, mobility so seriously and that perfection is not needed in these classes.  It just takes time and patience and consistency.  I love having inflexible students. It excited me when my students start going to more classes other than my classes.  That just means Ive put the yoga bug in their butt.  ew LOL not really a bug...oh my goodness....gonna stop now. 

Just to get a little personal...

I love cats.  You will meet them in my videos.  I do try to keep them at bay but sometimes they get a little crazy.  I may not show all of those moments, but trust me they are crazy.  Their names are Penny, Ozzy, and Bowie the Thin White Duke.  My hubby is my camera guy and I'm so grateful for him in helping me with all of this.   He is my hubby luver.

I teach live in person yoga classes at Stay Classy Crossfit.  Which means I do CrossFit.  I love my CrossFit community and you may see me wearing their swag here and there.  They are my best friends!
